How does Monkey King / 美猴王 end?
Ending Unavailable. The official/CMG-sourced finale promotion identifies Episode 10 as the series finale, 'The Great Sage Havocs Heaven.' It confirms Sun Wukong survives execution attempts, gains fiery eyes in Laozi's furnace, defeats the heavenly forces, and forces the Jade Emperor to summon the Tathagata Buddha. However, the indexed official promo stops at the Buddha's arrival and does not explicitly expose the final scene. Because this adaptation is based on the first seven chapters of Journey to the West, the ending is not filled in from the source novel without adaptation-specific finale evidence.
