Should You Watch Feud?
If you enjoy emotionally intense xianxia romances, divine conspiracies, revenge, and lovers who seem determined to destroy each other, Feud has plenty of that.
Its biggest romantic strength is its established marital history and eventual reunion. Its biggest drawback is the exhausting cycle of resentment, mistrust, and suffering.
This is not the best choice for viewers wanting a consistently peaceful and affectionate relationship. The happy ending also arrives extremely late.
Does Feud Have a Happy Ending?
Yes — Happy Ending. Li Qingyue and Bai Jiusi reunite alive in Episode 32 after she awakens him with a kiss. The main couple ends together; other tragedies are not all erased.
Yes. Feud has a Happy Ending, and its main couple ends up together.
Bai Jiusi appears lost after the final conflict.
Li Qingyue uses a time-traveling artifact to revisit the past and confront their tragic history.
She eventually returns to the frozen lake, finds Bai Jiusi, and awakens him with a kiss.
They reunite alive in Episode 32.
However, their happy reunion does not mean every tragedy, death, and sacrifice throughout the story is erased.
The finale is happy for the main couple, but the wider story contains significant heartbreak.
Do They Break Up?
Yes. Their relationship ends and later resumes across their marriage history. These ruptures are distinct from arguments, supernatural separation, and apparent death. Exact breakup episodes and a legal divorce count are not confirmed.

Shen Zhiyi's Review
I finished Feud and gave it a 3.5/5, but apparently my brain decided to remember all the suffering and forget the actual ending. 😭😂
I genuinely thought this one didn't end happily!
To be fair, the story revolves around two immortals whose relationship goes from love to resentment, revenge, and eventually reconciliation. There are marriages, enormous misunderstandings, a devastating family tragedy, and enough supernatural punishment to make their relationship history rather complicated.
And despite everything, they do eventually find their way back to each other.
So yes, they get their happy ending. It just takes 32 episodes of celestial relationship problems to get there. 😂
Relationship Timeline
Episode 3 — Early marriage context
Bai Jiusi and Li Qingyue are already in a wedding-night context. This is not asserted as the exact first wedding episode.
Episode 23 — Past pregnancy and child loss
Flashbacks show her pregnancy and their son’s death. These events belong to their earlier relationship history, rather than a new present-day pregnancy.
Episode 26 — Another wedding ceremony
Bai Jiusi stages another ceremony amid unresolved conflict. This is not their first marriage.
Episode 27 — Apology
Bai Jiusi apologizes to Li Qingyue; reconciliation develops late.
Episode 32 — Reunion kiss
Li Qingyue awakens Bai Jiusi with a kiss. Both are alive, romantically reunited, and together.
Alive, romantically reunited, and together. Marriage is part of their shared history; the finale does not explicitly confirm a new wedding or final marriage status.
Additional Relationship Notes
The timeline below follows broadcast episodes. Past-life and mortal-life flashbacks describe earlier events, rather than a new marriage or pregnancy at that point in the present-day story. The first proper lip-kiss episode has not been reliably established.
