Tigers Sniff the Rose Passes 4 Million Reservations as October Release Approaches
尚公主
Tigers Sniff the Rose (尚公主) has reached another major milestone before it has even premiered.
The upcoming historical romance starring Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui has officially passed 4 million combined reservations, according to the drama’s official social media account.
That is a lot of people waiting for these two to fall in love again.
And honestly, after Blossom, is anyone surprised?
Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui Reunite
Tigers Sniff the Rose reunites Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui, who previously appeared together in Blossom (九重紫).
Their pairing became one of the biggest reasons viewers began watching this project long before its premiere, and the drama has continued building anticipation through posters, trailers and romantic promotional material.
This time, Meng Ziyi plays Mu Wanyao, a noblewoman who refuses to quietly accept the future chosen for her.
Li Yunrui plays Yan Shang, an intelligent young man from a humble background.
Their lives become connected as they navigate politics, ambition and a turbulent era while working toward a more peaceful future.
Tigers Sniff the Rose Is Already on WeTV
The official international WeTV page for Tigers Sniff the Rose is already live.
WeTV classifies the series as a 2026 Mainland Chinese historical romance and currently lists Meng Ziyi, Li Yunrui, Quan Yilun and Wu Hankun among the cast.
Official trailers and promotional clips are also already available through WeTV.
That is especially good news for international viewers waiting to see whether the drama will receive an official overseas release.
Has Tigers Sniff the Rose Announced a Release Date?
Not yet.
This is the part where we do not turn internet rumors into facts.
Tencent Video included Tigers Sniff the Rose in its October drama lineup, and reports continue to point toward a late-October release.
However, as of October 4, 2026, the drama has not officially announced a specific premiere date.
Several dates have circulated online, including October 20 and dates later in the month, but those should still be treated as tentative until Tencent Video or the drama’s official account confirms one.
So for now:
The October release window looks strong.
The exact day is still unconfirmed.
Why 4 Million Reservations Matters
Passing 4 million reservations gives Tigers Sniff the Rose significant pre-release momentum.
The drama already has the advantage of a popular lead pairing, a romance-heavy promotional campaign and a large audience familiar with Meng Ziyi and Li Yunrui together.
The reservation milestone also arrives just as promotion appears to be increasing ahead of the expected premiere.
If Tencent officially confirms the release date soon, expect interest in the drama to rise very quickly.
And yes, I will be watching this one closely because the real questions have not been answered yet:
Do Mu Wanyao and Yan Shang get a happy ending?
Do they break up?
How long does it take them to actually get together?
And most importantly, are we getting proper romance and kisses or are they going to make us suffer for 40 episodes?
Those answers will be added once the drama begins airing.
For now, Tigers Sniff the Rose has officially crossed 4 million reservations, and its exact premiere date is the next announcement to watch.
