A PERSONAL VIEWING JOURNAL
🌸 My Review
I really loved Ji Xing in this one. ❤️
Her hardworking attitude was probably my favorite part of the drama. She doesn’t magically become successful because she is the female lead. We actually watch her struggle, leave a job that is treating her badly, start her own company, make mistakes, learn from them, and keep going.
She gets knocked around by the business world and still gets back up.
And thank God she has an actual brain. 😂
Ji Xing leaves her corporate job and starts a medical-tech company, which eventually brings her back into Han Ting’s orbit. He becomes an investor and mentor in her business, but he has also liked her for years.
A lot of the beginning focuses on Ji Xing’s career and startup struggles, so the romance takes its time getting there. Once these two finally get together, though, the drama actually gives us relationship content instead of making us wait until the final five minutes. ❤️
There are kisses, affection, domestic moments, cohabitation, and an implied adult relationship.
Unfortunately, Han Ting has one of those “I know what is best so I will just handle everything without telling you” habits. 🙄
That becomes a real problem when Ji Xing discovers how much he has been controlling behind the scenes with Xingchen and Hanhai. She feels like he treated her and her company like pieces on a chessboard instead of trusting her as an equal.
And yes — they really break up.
It is not just an argument or one-night misunderstanding. Ji Xing leaves, goes to Germany, and the story puts a significant amount of time between them before they reconcile.
That part definitely dragged the romance down for me because after finally getting them together, WHY ARE WE DOING THIS. 😭
But at least the drama gives them a proper reconciliation and does not leave the relationship hanging.
By the end, Ji Xing and Han Ting are completely together. We get the proposal, marriage registration, wedding photos, honeymoon, children, and basically their entire life together.
The special episode goes even further and shows them growing old together.
So apparently the drama said:
“You want proof they are endgame? Fine. HERE IS THEIR WHOLE LIFE.” 😂😭❤️
Ji Xing was still the biggest reason I liked this drama. I loved watching a female lead who was ambitious, capable, hardworking, and willing to keep fighting for the future she wanted.
And Xu Kai being Xu Kai certainly was not hurting anything either. 👀
Ending — Happy Ending ❤️

About these assessments
My impressions cover what I watched. Later research is labeled on dropped reviews. Kissing, affection and adult intimacy are separate; coercion does not count as romantic spice. Being apart does not automatically mean a breakup.
