Irreplaceable (无可替代) is officially having a very good week overseas.

The Chinese workplace drama starring Zhao Jinmai and Wei Daxun has entered Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English Shows chart at No. 7, according to Netflix’s official weekly rankings.

For the week of September 28 through October 4, 2026, Irreplaceable recorded 2 million views and 17.1 million hours watched.

And this is its first week on the chart.

Not bad for a drama about consulting meetings, office politics and two ambitious people trying very hard to pretend they are not falling for each other.

Irreplaceable Ranks No. 7 Worldwide on Netflix

Netflix’s official Global Top 10 places Irreplaceable at No. 7 among all non-English television shows worldwide for the week.

The ranking is based on Netflix’s own viewing data.

The numbers:

  • Global rank: No. 7
  • Category: Non-English TV
  • Hours watched: 17.1 million
  • Chart week: September 28–October 4, 2026
  • Weeks in the Global Top 10: 1

That makes this more than just a platform posting about having a popular drama.

We actually have Netflix’s numbers.

Irreplaceable Reaches the Top 10 in 24 Markets

Youku says the drama’s international performance goes well beyond the global chart.

According to Youku’s official announcement, Irreplaceable entered Netflix’s Top 10 in 24 countries and regions during its first week.

It also reached No. 1 in Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.

That is a pretty significant international start for a contemporary Chinese workplace drama — especially in a global streaming environment where C-dramas are competing not only with other Asian dramas, but with television from around the world.

The Drama Is Also Making a Push Into Latin America

One of the more interesting parts of Irreplaceable’s Netflix release is its localization strategy.

Youku says this is the first Youku drama to launch on Netflix with a Spanish-language dub available simultaneously.

That investment appears to be paying off.

The drama entered the Netflix Top 10 in 16 Latin American markets, including Mexico, Chile and Colombia, according to Youku.

For Chinese dramas, that matters.

International C-drama distribution has historically relied heavily on subtitled releases and audiences already familiar with Asian television. Adding localized dubbing opens the door to viewers who may never have gone looking for a Chinese drama in the first place.

And if Irreplaceable continues performing well, I would not be surprised to see platforms put more money into localized audio for future C-drama releases.

What Is Irreplaceable About?

Irreplaceable follows Xu Chi, played by Zhao Jinmai, as she fights her way from a new graduate into the highly competitive world of professional consulting.

She crosses paths with Ye Xinzhi, played by Wei Daxun, an experienced industry figure with ambitions and plans of his own.

What begins as a professional relationship gradually develops into something more complicated as the two navigate career competition, trust, ambition and their growing feelings for each other.

Netflix’s chart classifies it among Non-English Shows. Youku’s promotion spotlights the workplace rivalry between Xu Chi and Ye Xinzhi alongside the series’ growing romantic story.

So yes, there is corporate strategy.

But fortunately for those of us with priorities, there is also romance.

Why This Netflix Ranking Matters

There are plenty of ways platforms tell us a drama is popular.

Heat indexes. Reservation counts. Trending lists. Social-media rankings.

But Netflix’s weekly Global Top 10 gives us something especially useful: public international viewing data that can actually be compared across shows.

For Irreplaceable to debut at No. 7 with 17.1 million hours watched means viewers outside China are not simply clicking on the drama.

They are spending a lot of time watching it.

And with the series already charting across Asia and Latin America, its first Netflix week suggests that Zhao Jinmai and Wei Daxun’s workplace romance may have considerably more international reach ahead.

I’ll be watching the next Netflix chart to see whether Irreplaceable climbs higher, holds its position — or proves that 17.1 million hours was only the beginning.
